Today we work with over 60 suppliers, helping to service over 2400 members. In recent years our team has trebled in size and our main focus, as it has always been, remains to secure the best deal for our member's businesses.

Originating in Weston-Super-Mare with a handful family run businesses; including locally renowned restaurant ‘The Old Thatched Cottage’ and in more recent years the national holiday attraction ‘The Grand Pier’, we utilised our knowledge as operators and pulled our purchasing power together in order to secure better prices across the board on popular brands and local specialty products.

As we grew more successful and built up a reputation in the field we began to offer our pricing portfolio to businesses outside of our own estate. Seeing how much we were able to aid local businesses as the economy began to take a hit we took the decision to increase our team and spread our coverage to businesses nationally.

Through trade partnerships with organisations such as 'BALPPA' and 'Material Matters' we continue to expand our membership range which allows us to negotiate better deals on more products, in more areas and offer ever increasing levels of service.

Working out of Regency House in Weston-super-Mare, we believe in a strong group dynamic and regularly socialise together out of working hours. Whether it's having the Boss fry us all up some fish and chips or participating in the annual Regency Ten Pin Bowling Championships, we recognise that people, and the relationships that we forge, are at the heart of everything we do.

We know where we began, and are proud of everything we have achieved to date. In these turbulent times, who know's where we will end up; but to date we've yet to come across a problem we couldn't solve or an obstacle we couldn't conquer.

For 20 years Alex has owned and operated businesses ranging from hotels & restaurants to leisure attractions. Alex’s knowledge and passion is now focused on purchasing, with a vision to help all independent operators compete with national chains.

Joining RPG in 2006. Sian, CIPS qualified, held previous positions as an Assistant Buyer in wholesale and as an Audit Commission Procurement Officer. Starting as a RSM, Sian progressed to Key Account Manager and now heads up our National Accounts.

Ben has been with Regency since 2009, prior to that he worked in the brewing and pub industry with time spent with Coors, Punch Taverns and Carlsberg. Ben manages Regency’s national network of Procurement Managers.

Office Manager

Steph joined Regency Purchasing in 2011 as a member of the administration team. She now runs our Head Office and manages our team of Sales Support members in her position as Office Manager.

Allan joined Regency in July 2016 having previously worked both in retail & on-trade buying and group purchasing for an international business. Allan looks after our commercial team, managing supply partner relationships and associated discussions.

Nick is the newest member to the Regency team, having previously worked across the Leisure and Hospitality sectors for Brand owners and Event partners. Nick brings extensive commercial and supplier experience to all areas of our business.

Systems & Technical Manager

Simon started with Regency 19 years ago building the claims systems in the insurance part of the business. After years of programming, Simon now joins the Purchasing Group overseeing all the systems, technology and developments.
